“You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit!

(Acts 7:51)

Pray

Dear God,

You are the sovereign creator of the universe, and I come before You humbly acknowledging Your power and authority over all things. Your word in this verse reminds us that our hearts can become stubborn and resistant to Your guidance and correction. I confess that at times I have allowed my pride and self-reliance to overshadow my dependence on You. Please soften my heart and help me to remain open to Your will and direction in my life.

I ask for Your forgiveness and for the strength to surrender my will to Yours. Help me to be receptive to Your teachings and to continually seek Your wisdom and guidance. May Your Spirit work in me to transform me into the person You have called me to be. Thank You for Your grace and patience with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
