September 2 – Morning

Read

In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.

(Psalm 10:4)

Pray

Dear God,

You are the mighty and faithful God who reigns over all the earth. You see the wickedness and arrogance of those who do not acknowledge You and who are consumed with their own selfish desires. Lord, help me to align my heart with Yours and not be led astray by the ways of the world. Grant me the strength and courage to stand firm in my faith, even when faced with opposition and persecution.

You are my refuge and strength, and I trust in Your unfailing love and righteousness. As I meditate on this verse, I pray that You will humble the hearts of those who do not seek You, and that they will come to know Your truth and experience Your salvation. May Your light shine through me as a beacon of hope and love in this dark and broken world. I surrender my will to Yours, and I ask for Your guidance and wisdom in all that I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
