May 18 – Evening

Dear God,

You are the sovereign ruler of the entire universe, and Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. Your power and authority surpass all others, and we are in awe of Your majesty. We humbly submit ourselves to Your will and pray that Your kingdom will come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Help us to surrender our own desires and ambitions and to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness.

We know that the kingdoms of this world will one day become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and we eagerly anticipate that day. In the meantime, may we be faithful ambassadors of Your kingdom, proclaiming the good news of salvation and living in a way that reflects Your love and grace. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives and in the lives of those around us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Señor,
Tu reino es eterno y nunca tendrá fin. Danos la sabiduría y la fortaleza para vivir de acuerdo con tus mandamientos y para difundir tu amor y justicia en este mundo. Ayúdanos a ser testigos vivos de tu reino aquí en la tierra, para que podamos contribuir a la construcción de un mundo más justo y compasivo.

Señor, que tu reino se manifieste en nuestras vidas, en nuestras relaciones y en nuestras comunidades. Que podamos ser instrumentos de paz y reconciliación, y que podamos ser luz en medio de la oscuridad. Danos la gracia de ser fieles a tu palabra y de seguir tus caminos, para que podamos participar en la realización de tu reino aquí en la tierra. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.

Y el reino, y el dominio y la majestad de los reinos debajo de todo el cielo, será dado al pueblo de los santos del Altísimo, cuyo reino es reino eterno, y todos los dominios le servirán y obedecerán.
