March 20 – Noon

Dear God,

You have commanded us to love one another, for love comes from You. Yet, there are times when I struggle to love those around me, especially those who are difficult to love. I confess that there are people in my life whom I have not loved as I should and for that, I ask for Your forgiveness. Help me to see others through Your eyes and to love them as You love them, without judgment or prejudice.

You have shown me great love through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and I pray that I may reflect that love in my relations with others. Teach me to love my neighbors, my enemies, and everyone in between. Give me the strength and grace to love unconditionally, in word and action, so that others may see Your love through me. Thank You for the gift of love and the ability to share it with those around me.

Señor,
Tu palabra nos recuerda en este versículo que si decimos que te amamos, pero odiamos a nuestro hermano, somos mentirosos. Perdónanos por las veces que hemos fallado en amar a los demás como Tú nos amas a nosotros. Ayúdanos a amar a nuestros hermanos y hermanas en Cristo, así como a aquellos que todavía no te conocen. Danos un corazón compasivo y lleno de amor, para que podamos reflejar tu amor a todos los que nos rodean.

Te pedimos que nos ayudes a ver a cada persona como tu creación amada, digna de amor y respeto. Ayúdanos a ser instrumentos de tu amor y reconciliación en un mundo que tanto lo necesita. Que nuestras palabras y acciones reflejen tu amor y gracia para que otros puedan conocerte a través de nosotros.

Te pedimos que nos des la valentía y la voluntad para amar incluso a aquellos que nos resulta difícil amar. Que tu amor transforme nuestros corazones y nuestras relaciones. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.

Si alguno dice: Yo amo a Dios, y aborrece a su hermano, es mentiroso. Pues el que no ama a su hermano a quien ha visto, ¿cómo puede amar a Dios a quien no ha visto?
