March 18 – Evening

Read

The LORD said to Gideon, ‘The people with you are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hand, lest Israel boast over me, saying, My own hand has saved me.”‘”

(Judges 7:2)

Pray

Dear God,

You have called us to be strong and courageous in the face of adversity, just as You instructed Gideon in this verse. Help us to trust in Your plan and Your timing, even when we feel inadequate or outnumbered. Give us the faith to stand firm in the knowledge that You are with us, guiding and supporting us along the way. Help us to remember that it is not our own strength, but Yours, that will see us through every challenge we face.

We pray for the wisdom to discern Your direction and the courage to follow it, even when it may seem unconventional or contrary to human understanding. Strengthen our hearts and minds as we strive to be obedient and faithful servants in the face of opposition, and fill us with the peace that surpasses all understanding. We thank You for Your unfailing love and the promises You have given us, and we trust in Your ability to turn our weaknesses into Your triumphs.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
