for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

(Romans 3:23)

Pray

Dear God,

You are holy and perfect, and I am not. I know that I have sinned and fallen short of Your glory, and I come before You now to ask for Your forgiveness. Help me to recognize my shortcomings and to turn away from sin. Give me the strength to live a life that is pleasing to You, and guide me in the path of righteousness.

I am grateful for Your love and grace, and I thank You for sending Your son Jesus to die for my sins. Please cleanse me from all unrighteousness and help me to become more like Christ each day. May my life be a reflection of Your goodness and mercy, and may I bring glory to Your name in all that I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
