Pray

Dear God,
You are the righteous and loving God who desires to dwell in the hearts of Your people. Your word tells us in this verse that Your house shall be called a house of prayer. I pray that You would make my heart a dwelling place for Your presence, a sanctuary where You are honored and worshiped. Help me to cultivate a spirit of prayer and devotion, so that I may always be in communion with You and seek Your will above all else.

Lord, forgive me for the times when I have allowed worldly distractions to hinder my prayer life. Help me to keep my heart and mind focused on You, so that my prayers may be pleasing in Your sight. May my life be a testimony of Your glory and grace, as I seek to honor and serve You in every aspect of my being. Thank You for the privilege of coming before You in prayer, and for the assurance that You hear and answer our petitions. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
