June 3 – Evening

And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit. And he cried out,

(Mark 1:23)

Dear God,

You are the ultimate authority and power in the universe. Just as the people in the synagogue were amazed at Jesus’ authority when He rebuked the impure spirit in this verse, I am in awe of Your power and sovereignty. I come before You in humility and reverence, acknowledging that You are the one who holds all authority in heaven and on earth.

I pray that You would manifest Your authority in my life, just as Jesus did in the synagogue. Rebuke any impure spirits or negative influences that may be hindering me from living in the freedom and fullness that You have promised. Help me to submit to Your authority and walk in obedience to Your will. I trust in Your power to overcome any obstacles and bring about healing and deliverance in my life. Thank You for Your authority and for the hope and strength it brings.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
