July 28 – Noon

Read

The God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me: ‘When one rules over people in righteousness, when he rules in the fear of God, he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings grass from the earth.’

(2 Samuel 23:3)

Pray

Dear God,

You are my rock and my fortress, and I seek refuge in Your unchanging nature and unwavering love. Your word in this verse assures me that You are my refuge and strength, and that You are the source of all my strength and security. I pray for the wisdom and discernment to always stay close to You and find comfort in Your constant presence. Help me to lean on You and trust in Your promises, knowing that You will never fail me.

Thank You, Lord, for being my ever-present help, for guiding me through the storms of life and for being my firm foundation. I pray that You will continue to strengthen me and give me the courage to face every challenge that comes my way. May I always find my strength in You and may my life bring glory to Your name.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
