January 7 – Morning

Read

Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless.

(Ecclesiastes 5:10)

Pray

Dear God,

You have blessed me with so much in my life, yet I confess that I have often found myself desiring more and more. Your word in this verse reminds me that the love of money and material possessions can never truly satisfy. Help me to find contentment and joy in the abundance You have already provided for me. Teach me to be grateful for what I have and to use it wisely for Your glory and the good of others.

You are my provider and my sustainer, and I trust in Your faithfulness to meet all of my needs. Help me to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, knowing that everything else will be added unto me. Give me a heart that is generous and willing to share with those in need. May my life be a reflection of Your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
