My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
You know the struggles I face in controlling my anger and quick temper. Help me to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger, just as Your word instructs. Grant me the patience and wisdom to truly hear and understand others before reacting. Strengthen me to respond with love and grace, rather than with harsh words and a hot temper.
Help me to remember that my anger does not produce the righteousness that You desire. Give me a heart that reflects Your love and mercy towards others, and the ability to bring glory to Your name through my actions and reactions. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Señor,
Tu palabra nos enseña a ser prontos para oír, tardo para hablar y tardo para airarnos. Ayúdame a ser paciente al escuchar a los demás, a controlar mi lengua para no hablar de manera imprudente, y a no dejarme llevar por la ira. Que mi reacción ante las situaciones difíciles sea siempre conforme a tu voluntad, y que mi corazón refleje tu amor y paz en todo momento.
Te pido que me des la sabiduría y fortaleza para aplicar este pasaje de tu palabra en mi vida diaria. Que mi actitud y comportamiento sean siempre dignos de tu nombre, y que mi testimonio refleje tu gracia y misericordia. Te agradezco por tu amor inagotable y te pido que me guíes y fortalezcas en todo momento. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
