Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
You have called us to speak with grace and edification, and to use our words to build others up, rather than tearing them down. Please help me to be conscious of the impact of my words on others, and to speak with kindness and love. Help me to guard my tongue and to use my speech to bring peace and encouragement to those around me.
Please give me the strength to resist the temptation to speak in a way that is unkind or hurtful, and to instead choose words that reflect Your love and grace. Thank You for the power of Your Holy Spirit within me, and for the ability to bring healing and hope through the words I speak. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Tu palabra nos enseña a no decir palabras que hieran a los demás, sino solo aquellas que edifiquen y den gracia a quienes las escuchan. Ayúdame a ser consciente de mis palabras y a hablar con bondad y amor, evitando toda palabra que pueda causar daño o divisiones. Que mis palabras sean siempre inspiradas por tu Espíritu Santo, trayendo consuelo y esperanza a quienes me rodean.
Te pido que me des la sabiduría y el autocontrol necesario para pensar antes de hablar, y que guíes mis labios para que mis palabras reflejen tu amor y tu verdad. Que mi lengua sea un instrumento de bendición y que pueda glorificarte en todo momento. Gracias por tu gracia que me capacita para vivir de acuerdo con tu voluntad. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén.
