April 17 – Morning

Read

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

(Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)

Pray

Dear God,

You have shown us through the book of Ecclesiastes that the ultimate purpose of our lives is to fear You and keep Your commandments. Please help me to live my life in a way that reflects this truth. Give me the wisdom and strength to live out Your will each day, and to prioritize Your kingdom above all else. Help me to find joy and fulfillment in following Your ways, and to glorify You in everything I do.

I pray that You would guide me in making decisions that honor You, and that You would give me the courage to stand firm in my faith, even in the face of opposition or temptation. May my life be a pleasing offering to You, and may I hear the words “Well done, good and faithful servant” when I stand before You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
