March 10 – Morning

My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke.

(Proverbs 3:11)

Dear God,

You are a loving and compassionate Father, and I thank You for Your discipline and correction in my life. Help me to receive Your rebuke with humility and to learn from it, so that I may grow in wisdom and understanding. May I not despise Your discipline, but instead embrace it as a way to become more like You.

Lord, I pray that You would give me a heart that is open to Your correction and guidance. Help me to trust in Your love and know that Your discipline is for my good. As I walk in obedience to Your word, may I experience the peace and joy that comes from following Your ways. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for always being there to guide and teach me.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
